Do I need a licence to rent a scooter in Kamala?
Yes. Legally you need a motorcycle licence valid in Thailand — for most visitors that means your home motorcycle licence plus an International Driving Permit (IDP) with the motorcycle category. Police checkpoints around Phuket do check, and insurance is only valid with the right licence.
What do you need as a deposit?
A refundable cash deposit (5,000 THB for the 160cc scooters, 10,000 THB for the 350cc models) or another arrangement agreed on WhatsApp. We never keep your passport — carry it with you, it is safer for everyone.
How does hotel delivery work?
We bring the scooter to your hotel or villa anywhere in Kamala for 300 THB one-way, at a time that suits you. Pick-up at the end of your rental works the same way. Outside Kamala? Ask on WhatsApp and we will quote.
What is included in the price?
Two helmets, a lockable SHAD top box (33 L on the 160cc scooters, 43 L on the 350s) and a phone holder with every scooter, at every rate. The scooter comes serviced, with legal papers and compulsory Thai motor insurance (CTPL).
What if the scooter breaks down?
Message Popcorn on WhatsApp and we sort it out — in Kamala we come to you. Flat tyres and mechanical issues that are not caused by a crash are on us.
Can I pay by day, week or month?
Yes — daily, weekly and monthly rates are listed on every scooter page, and the longer you take, the cheaper each day gets. Cash (THB) on delivery is easiest; ask about transfers on WhatsApp.
